The booking form of this website requires you to provide some personal data. With "personal data" we refer to those data that can help identify or directly contact the user. Failing to provide those compulsory personal data prevent the user from using the services offered by this website or to comply with legal requirements. The booking system used by Welcome Sailor is a proprietary software (Berth Booking Engine) ad hoc designed and developed by Edisfera Srl.
In order to make effective your reservation, full payment guaranteed by credit card must be made at the time of booking. Welcome Sailor will not debit your credit card but will only perform a credit card number validation. However, each Welcome Sailor member marina might debit your credit card with a deposit amount or with the full amount for the reservation, but only after having obtained an explicit agreement to do so by the user. If the user cancels or changes his booking, the Welcome Sailor member marina will refund the due amount crediting the same card number used by the user during the reservation. Welcome Sailor is not liable for any damage caused by the Welcome Sailor member marina while debiting or crediting the users credit card.
At the end of the booking procedure, we will confirm your reservation by sending a confirmation message on screen and by e-mail. Please carefully check this booking confirmation for any information which appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later. Should you find errors in your booking confirmation, you must immediately change or cancel your booking through the online procedure provided by our website.
A binding contract between Welcome Sailor member marina and user comes into existence when Welcome Sailor dispatches our booking confirmation. This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by Italian law. We both agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises out of or in connection with this contract or your stay will be dealt with by the Courts of Italy only.
Change in booking fares and fees
Welcome Sailor member marina reserves the right to increase or decrease the fares at any time. The fare of your reservation will be confirmed at the time of booking. Once the fare has been confirmed at the time of booking, Welcome Sailor member marina will not increase it. Fees are included in the fare.
Changes by you
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, you can do it through the link Change booking in this website. Welcome Sailor cannot guarantee that the Welcome Sailor member marina will be able to meet any such requests. Since each change will be treated as a cancellation by you and a re-booking, any consequential cancellation charges set by the Welcome sailor member marina will be payable.
Cancellations by you
Should you need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, you can do it through the link Cancel booking in this website. Should you need to cancel after the date and time specified by the cancellation policy terms during the reservation process and on the booking notification, the Welcome Sailor member marina will charge you a cancellation penalty, usually the cost of the first night of your booked stay, with the exception of any specific cancellation policy set by each Welcome Sailor member marina. There are promotional rate plans with different cancellation policies, with cancellation penalties up to 100% of the value of your stay. The cancellation penalties will be always indicated on booking notifications and on rate plan descriptive texts.
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these General Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by act of God. In these Booking Conditions, "force majeure" means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
The Welcome Sailor member marina is the solely responsible for any deficiency in the supply of services included in your reservation, where the cause is attributable to its failure. In any case, the Welcome Sailor member marina will not be liable where you do not enjoy your stay or suffer any problems because of a reason you did not tell us about when you booked your stay or did not result from any breach of our contract.
Complaints and problems
In the event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems, you must immediately inform the involved Welcome Sailor member marina. Moreover, you can send your complaints to the Customer Service Office of Welcome Sailor, at the email address firstname.lastname@example.org, that monitors the quality of services offered by the Welcome Sailor member marinas to their guests.
Special requests and medical problems
If you have any special requests, you must advise us at the time of booking. Although the Welcome Sailor member marina will endeavour to pass any reasonable requests, we regret we cannot guarantee any request will be met. Unless and until specifically confirmed, all special requests are subject to availability. Moreover, if you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please tell us before you confirm your booking in the special request field. If the Welcome Sailor member marina reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, it must reserve the right to decline their reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details.
